(KRON) -- A woman was arrested after allegedly stealing $1,200 worth of merchandise, including Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Polo Ralph Lauren clothing, from a San Mateo Macy's store Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred at the Hillsdale Mall around 11:30 a.m. The suspect tried to flee in a vehicle but was soon pulled over by San Mateo police.
“This shopping trip came with an unexpected checkout,” police said in a social media post.
Police confirmed all the stolen merchandise was recovered.
The woman was booked into jail, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
